Tartu’s first sushibar Tokyo, is located in one of the oldest stone buildings, at the corner of Lai and Jaani st. With a cozy atmosphere and a large selection of delicious sushi to choose from, Tokyo is a place where you can spend some time relaxing while chatting with a friend or host a company event or birthday.
Tokyo is a family restaurant. Children can spend their time preoccupied with various educational games located on the chest of drawers in our reading room. Specific children dishes are represented with a frisky kitten face in the menu. Along with a wide sushi selection, the menu contains Japanese wok dishes for which a perfect compliment would be from Tokyo’s selection of traditional sakes, Kirin beer or plum wines.
Japan is known for its cultural importance of teas and tea drinking. Tokyo attempts to come as close as possible, by offering teas for the gourmet as well as feng-shui teas based upon the birthdate of the customer.
